What you need :

  • Milk - 250 gms
  • Sugar - 55 gms
  • Eggs - 1.5 Nos.
  • Cornflour - 35 gms
  • Butter - 35 gms
  • Vanilla essence - 10 ml
  • Alpenliebe Juzt Jelly - 100 gms

Method :

Boil (200 ml) milk, sugar, and vanilla essence together.
While the milk is boiling, take another mixing bowl and whisk eggs and milk (50ml).
Then add corn flour to the egg and milk mixture.
Slowly add the warm milk to the egg mixture while continuously whisking it.
Once all the milk is added to the egg mixture, put it in a pan and start cooking it on the range. After a while, it will start to thicken and that is the time you take it off the range while still whisking it.
Then add cubes of butter and keep whisking it till all the butter is incorporated in the custard.
Transfer it to a clean bowl and tightly wrap it. Allow it to rest for 30 mins.
When it cools down, take a glass and put Alpenliebe Juzt Jelly on the base and pipe the custard on top and garnish with Alpenliebe Juzt Jelly.
